TASI sheds 27 pts, Nomu stable early Wednesday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday in decline, after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) fell 27.41 points, or 0.3%, to 7,941.10 points.

By 10:42 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 17.74 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 364.44 million through 15,740 transactions. 

The media, telecommunication services, food and beverages, materials, and banking sectors levelled down 1.3%, 1.2%, 1.1%, 0.3%, and 0.2%, respectively.

On the other hand, the diversified financials sector rose 2.2%.

The National Petrochemical Company’s (Petrochem) stock led losers with 2.7%, whereas Saudi Cable Company’s stock surged 10%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 2,665.57 points.
