TASI rises to four-year high in November

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) rebounded in November 2020 to register its highest monthly gains in around four years.

The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) jumped by 10.61% in November, the highest level since November 2016, adding 839.37 points to reach the level of 8,747.09 points, official data showed.

Market cap gains amounted to SAR 662 billion last month, raising the market capital to SAR 9.302 trillion, compared with SAR 8.64 trillion a month earlier.

All market sectors rose, with banks and materials adding 11.62%and 11.98%, respectively. Likewise, telecommunication services and energy soared by 7.81%, and 6.98%, respectively.

The market’s liquidity stood at SAR 258.64 billion in November, posting a 16.85% monthly hike, while the trading activity inched up by 0.13% to reach 9.4 billion shares.
