TASI rises, Nomu stable at Monday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday with a positive performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) levelled up 37.52 points, or 0.5%, reaching 7,766.59 points.

By 10:35 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 11.08 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 266 million through 11,350 transactions.

The materials, banking, and telecommunication services sectors increased 0.77%, 0.7%, and 0.67%, respectively.

On the other hand, the diversified financials sector inched down 0.6%, while real estate management and development sector edged down 0.5%.

Saudi Marketing Company’s (Farm Superstores Co) stock topped gainers with 4.6%, whereas Halwani Bros’ stock fell 2%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, remained unchanged at 2,565.72 points.
