TASI rises, Nomu falls at Thursday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) increased 0.2% or 14.15 points, to 7,040.21 points.

By 10:40 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume reached 64.8 million shares, through 20,460 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 897.8 million

The real estate management and development, banks, and materials sectors levelled up 1.36%, 0.13%, and 0.08%, respectively.

On the other hand, the commercial and professional services sector edged down 0.58%, and telecommunication services sector shed 0.26%, whereas the pharmaceuticals sector remained unchanged.

Saudi Arabian Amiantit Co’s stock grew 3.92%, reaching SAR 7.15, whereas Middle East Specialized Cables Co’s (MESC) stock fell 2.41% to SAR 8.90.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU tumbled 0.53% or 16.63 points, reaching 3,112.37 points.

The stocks of Raydan Co, and Development Works Food declined 0.65%, and 0.59%, respectively, whereas Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries’ stock gained 1.14%.
