TASI near stable, Nomu rises slightly Sunday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) finished Sunday with a negative performance after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) levelled down 6.2 points, or 0.08%, to 7,908.07 points.

TASI’s trading volume stood at 135.27 million shares, up from 105.4 million in Thursday’s session, while liquidity amounted to SAR 2.5 billion, up from SAR 2.48 billion.

The retailing sector led losers with 1.42%, while the banking sector shed 0.56%.

On the other hand, the real estate management and development, telecommunication services, and materials sectors went up 1.42%, 0.65%, and 0.25%, respectively.

Etihad Etisalat Company’s (Mobily) stock led losers with 3.02%, while Amana Cooperative Insurance Company’s stock topped gainers after adding 9.98%.

Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development Co’s stock, which added 3.72%, topped TASI in terms of trading volume and value after 21.54 million were exchanged shares, with a turnover of SAR 195 million.

In the meantime, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, jumped 27.64 points, or 1.1%, to finish the first session of the week at 2,542.37 points.

Arab Sea Information System’s stock led gainers with 8.04%, while the stock of Abdullah Saad Mohamed Abo Moati for Bookstores Company was the worst performer after dropping 0.53%.
