Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s (Tadawul) indices ended the week in red.
The Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) lost 479.96 points, or 5.14%, to 8,856.94 points in a week.
Over the week, the joint index between Tadawul and MSCI, MT30 index, declined by 75.61 points, or 5.43%, to 1,316.2 points, while the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market (NOMU) shed 34.91 points, or 0.97%, to 3,574.22 points.
The banking, real estate, and telecommunications sectors retreated 6.56%, 6.51%, and 6.02%, respectively.
The media sector dropped 15.67% and the REITs sector levelled down 0.13%.
Tadawul’s trading volume reached 599.91 million shares over the week, while the market’s liquidity hit SAR 2.082 billion ($555.41 million).
