TASI inches down, Nomu rises slightly at Wednesday’s open

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) started Wednesday 0.06% or 4.47 points lower to reach 6,947.81 points.

By 11:03 am KSA time, TASI’s trading volume amounted to 47.08 million shares, through 26,090 transactions, with a liquidity of SAR 756.25 million.

The real estate management and development sector tumbled 0.5%, followed by banks with 0.4%, and commercial and professional services with 0.1%.

On the other hand, transportation, capital goods, telecommunication services, and materials sectors increased 1.4%, 1%, 0.3%, and 0.2%, respectively.

Saudi Paper Manufacturing Company's (SPMC) stock dropped 1.8%, whereas Anaam International Group’s stock led TASI’s gainers after surging 9.9%.

Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market levelled up 0.13% or 3.94 points to reach 3,010.70 points.

Al-Samaani Factory for Metal Industries’ stock went up 10.7%, and Al-Kathiri Holding Company’s stock grew 10.6%.
