TASI grows slightly, Nomu falls near stable Thursday

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Thursday’s trading session in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) rose 6.2 points, or 0.07%, reaching 8,646.72 points.

By 10:46 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 21.79 million shares exchanged through 18,970 transactions at a turnover of SAR 389.88 million.

The food and beverages sector led gainers after inching up 0.45%, followed by the consumer services, materials, and banking sectors with 0.2%, 0.12%, and 0.10%, respectively. 

On the other hand, the telecommunication services sector was the worst performer with 0.38%, and the diversified financials sector shed 0.3%.

Al Ahsa Development Company’s (ADC) stock topped risers with 3.4%, while the stock of Alkhabeer REIT Fund was the worst performer with 3.95%.

Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market, NOMU, fell 3.13 points, or 0.09%, to 3,664.85 points.

Baazeem Trading Co’s stock led Nomu’s losers with 1.4%, while the stock Abdullah Saad Mohamed Abo Moati for Bookstores Company was the best performer with 0.75%.
