Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday in the green after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) edged higher by 5.93 points, or 0.08%, to 7,712.27 points.
By 10:49 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 14.65 million shares, through 13,360 transactions, generating SAR 359.31 million.
The insurance, materials, and telecommunication services sectors levelled up 1.1%, 0.5%, and 0.4%, respectively.
On the other hand, the retailing sector fell 1%, while food and staples retailing decreased 0.8%.
Mediterranean and Gulf Insurance and Reinsurance Company’s (MedGulf) stock led gainers, surging 9.99%, whereas Allied Cooperative Insurance Group’s (ACIG) stock decreased 2.9%.
Meanwhile, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market, NOMU, remained unchanged at 2,580.10 points.
