Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) opened Sunday in red territory, after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) plunged 53 points, or 0.67%, to 7,895.3 points.
By 10:30 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 11 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 222.18 million through 9,100 transactions.
The utilities, telecommunication services, materials, and banking sectors decreased by 1.75%, 1.1%, 0.09%, and 0.09%, respectively.
On the other hand, the healthcare sector rose 0.13%.
Saudi Cable Company’s stock led losers with 2.77%, whereas Saudi Indian Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Wafa Insurance) stock was the best performer with 3.45%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the main index of the Nomu secondary market, grew 2.4 points, or 0.09%, to 2,693.61 points.
Baazeem Trading Co’s stock gained 2%, whereas Arab Sea Information System declined 3.2%.
