TASI ends Sunday in red for third session in row

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Exchange (Tadawul) ended Sunday on a negative note for the third consecutive session amid falling blue-chips, sliding by 125.09 points or 1.12% to close at 11,076.55 points. 

The market's turnover retreated to SAR 5.147 billion on Sunday from SAR 6.852 billion on Thursday, while the trading volume fell to 150.359 million shares from 196.936 million in the previous session. 

The banks sector topped the fallers with 1.79%, while the basic materials and energy sectors declined by 1.30% and 0.25%, respectively. 

On the other hand, the real estate sector headed the risers and advanced by 0.76%, while the telecommunication services sector increased by 0.17%. 

Tourism Enterprise Company (Shams) led the gainers with 4.57%, whereas Amana Cooperative Insurance Co headed the decliners with 4.74%.

Dar Alarkan Real Estate registered the largest trading volume of 11.274 million shares, while Al Rajhi Bank topped the market in terms of turnover with SAR 296.558 million. 

In the meantime, Nomu-Parallel Market Capped Index (NomuC) dropped by 106.99 points or 0.43% to close at 24,824.19 points. 

Fesh Fash Food Factory Co was NomuC's best performer with 0.37%, while Banan Real Estate was the worst performer with 4.93%.
