Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Wednesday in red territory after its benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) tumbled about 10 points, or 0.12%, to 8,026.64 points.
By 10:30 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume reached 9.4 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 191.34 million through 9,250 transactions.
The consumer services sector inched down 0.87%, followed by the banking sector with 0.21%.
The materials and telecommunication services sectors fell 0.13%, and 0.08%, respectively.
On the other hand, the pharmaceuticals sector edged up 0.64%, while the energy sector rose 0.57%.
Herfy Food Services’ stock led losers with 2.5%, whereas the stock of Saudi Indian Company for Cooperative Insurance (Wafa Insurance) was the best performer with 5.82%.
Meanwhile, the main index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, NOMU, remained unchanged at 2,687.13 points.
