Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Thursday in the red after its main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) fell 36.3 points, or 0.44%, reaching 7,982.22 points.
By 10:30 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume reached 8.84 million shares, via 9,360 transactions, generating SAR 197.56 million in turnover.
The utilities sector dropped 2.2%, followed by telecommunication services with 0.79%, banks with 0.55%, and materials with 0.25%.
On the other hand, the consumer durables and apparel sector rose 0.9%, while consumer services inched up 0.79%.
United International Transportation Company’s (Budget) led losers with 3.79%, whereas Al Jouf Agricultural Development Company’s (JADCO) stock topped gainers with 4.63%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, increased 3.63 points, or 0.14%, to 2,688.98 points.
Al Kathiri Holding Co.’s stock levelled up 11.8%
