TASI closes Monday higher; NOMU falls

Riyadh – Mubasher: The benchmark Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) of the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) closed Monday’s trading session 1% higher after gaining 77.71 points to close at 7,827.17 points.

Tadawul’s turnover grew to SAR 3.28 billion from SAR 2.93 billion on Sunday, with the trading volume reaching about 121 million shares from 110.4 million.

The insurance segment topped ten gainers with 1.76%, while the software and services sector led the decliners with 2.69%.

Al-Ahlia Insurance Co advanced the winners with 5.75%, while the Saudi Public Transport Co (SAPTCO) led the losers with 5.64%.

Al Rajhi Bank posted the highest trading of SAR 448.71 million, the stock went up 1.36%.

Meanwhile, the Parallel Market Index (NOMU) declined by 0.65% after losing 25.2 points to close at 3,877 points.

Thob Al Aseel Co was the top faller with 1.47%, while Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati for Bookstores Co (Abo Moati) topped the risers with 1.2%.
