Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange’s Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) grew by 138.4 points, or 1.75%, to 8,062.61 points in a week.
Thirteen sectors grew, including food production, transport, and banking sectors which added 3.61%, 2.9%, and 2.63%, respectively.
The energy sector increased by 1.9%, the materials sector levelled up by 1.4%, and the telecom sector rose by 0.7%.
On the other hand, eight sectors declined, led by the food retailing sector which dropped 2%, while the software & services and capital goods sector shed 1.51% and 1.26%, respectively.
Market capitalisation went up to SAR 1.898 trillion ($506 billion) over the week, compared to SAR 1.871 trillion ($498.9 billion) in the previous week.
Trading volume increased to 595 million shares, while liquidity shrank to SAR 15.429 billion.
