TAMEER swings to profit in H1-21

Cairo – MubasherDevelopment and Engineering Consultants Co (TAMEER) turned to consolidated net profits of EGP 18.56 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, versus net losses of EGP 5.41 million in H1-20, including minority shareholders' rights. 

The net profits attributable to the parent company's shareholders amounted to EGP 7.82 million in the January-June period, against net losses of EGP 3.06 million in the corresponding period a year earlier, according to a bourse disclosure on Sunday.

Meanwhile, the net profits attributable to minority interests reached EGP 10.7 million in H1-21, compared to net losses of EGP 2.34 million In H1-20. 

The revenues slid to EGP 9.83 million in the six-month period ended 30 June, compared to EGP 111.21 million in the prior-year period. 

During the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, TAMEER reported consolidated net profits of EGP 6.07 million, compared to EGP 5.74 million in Q1-21, including minority shareholders' rights.
