Abu Dhabi – Sharikat Mubasher: Synapse Analytics, a UAE-based AI company developing decisioning infrastructure for regulated financial institutions, closed a $13 million Series A funding round, bringing its total funding to $17 million.
As per the company’s press release, this round was led by Partech, with participation from Algebra Ventures and Silicon Badia. Synapse Analytics said the funding will support team expansion, product development, and international market growth. The company did not disclose its valuation or transaction terms.
Synapse Analytics provides AI-powered decisioning solutions that allow banks, fintechs, non-banking financial institutions, and telcos to automate processes including credit, onboarding, fraud, and anti-money laundering while keeping sensitive data within their own infrastructure.
Its platform can be deployed on-premises, in private, public, or sovereign clouds, as well as air-gapped environments. The company also enables credit and risk teams to modify policies and test their impact using historical data before deployment.
The company operates across the Middle East, Africa, and Latin America. On this occasion, Ahmed Abaza, co-founder and CEO, said the investment will help Synapse accelerate its mission to provide financial institutions with faster and more secure decision-making infrastructure.
