Switzerland’s RCG to set development plans for Metallurgical’s units

Cairo – Mubasher: Metallurgical Industries Holding Company has signed a coordination protocol with Switzerland-based RCG Consulting to technically evaluate the Egyptian firm’s production lines and set plans for the development of four arms.

The Egyptian metal producer firm has launched a bid in October to select a global advisor to conduct an integrated evaluation for the company’s production lines, set development proposals, and investment costs, according to a statement by the business sector ministry.

The Swiss firm has been assigned the evaluation of Egyptian Copper Works, El Nasr Company for Coke and Chemicals, the Egyptian Co. for Metallic Constructions (Metalco), and Nasr Company for Steel Pipe and Fittings, the ministry highlighted.

RCG has been awarded Metallurgical’s bid in March to act as a consultant on all stages of metal production.

The protocol has been signed by Metallurgical’s chaiman Medhat Nafea and RCG’s chairman Joachim Schroeder with the presence of the public business sector minister Hisham Tawfiq.
