Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Sukuk and Bonds market index ended Thursday's session in negative territory, declining by 0.94% to close at 5,012.38 points.
Total trading value reached SAR 9.74 million, driven largely by activity in financial sector instruments, while the session saw 12 issues advance against 9 decliners.
The market index shed 47.69 points during the session, finishing at 5,012.38 points. Trading volume totaled 9.65 million units executed across various listed debt instruments. Out of the total issues traded, 42 remained unchanged from their previous closing prices.
In terms of individual performance, CENOMI CENTERS SUKUK 11/2031 led the gainers, rising +0.47% to close at SAR 101.48. It was followed by several sovereign instruments, including KSA Sukuk 2024-04-12, which added +0.29% to reach SAR 101.45, and KSA Sukuk 2024-04-07, which increased by +0.12% to SAR 100.9.
Other notable gainers included KSA Sukuk 2020-07-08 and KSA Sukuk 2018-07-10 (5270), both posting modest gains of +0.07% and +0.06% respectively.
On the declining side, RAYA SUKUK PREP recorded the steepest drop, falling 0.19% to SAR 102.8. ALRAJHI SUKUK PERP declined by 0.17% to close at SAR 101.63.
Similarly, KSA Sukuk 2019-01-10 (5274) dropped by 0.17% to SAR 97.13, while KSA Sukuk 2023-08-10 and KSA Sukuk 2020-07-15 saw decreases of 0.13% and 0.07% respectively.
Liquidity was heavily concentrated in ALRAJHI SUKUK PERP, which dominated the market with a traded value of SAR 7.55 million and a volume of 7.42 million units.
CENOMI CENTERS SUKUK 11/2031 followed with SAR 500,000 in turnover, while BIDAYA SUKUK 03/2029 recorded SAR 410,000 in trading value. Other active instruments included KSA Sukuk 2019-01-10 with SAR 240,000 and RAWASI SUKUK 03/2030 with SAR 110,000.
