Cairo – Mubasher: Suez Canal generated $488.1 million in revenue in November, up by 2.4% year-on-year (YoY) from $11.4 million, the President of the Suez Canal Authority, Osama Rabea, revealed.
Despite the coronavirus (COVID-19) crisis, traffic at the Suez Canal has not been affected as 1,614 vessels crossed the canal in November with a net cargo of 100.2 million tonnes, Rabea said in a statement on Tuesday.
