Suez Canal Technology reports 10% lower consolidated profits in FY21/22

Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated net profits of Suez Canal Company for Technology Settling went down by 10.70% on an annual basis during fiscal year (FY) ended on 31 August 2022, including minority shareholders’ rights.

The company’s profits amounted to EGP 597.30 million during the September-August period in FY21/22, compared to EGP 669.59 million in the previous FY, according to a stock exchange filing on Monday. 

Earnings per share (EPS) stood at EGP 6.55 in FY21/22, compared to EGP 7.34 in FY20/21.

The company’s revenues reached EGP 1.39 billion during the twelve-month period ended on 31 August 2022, up from EGP 1.29 billion a year earlier.

It is worth noting that in FY21/22, Suez Canal Technology’s standalone net earnings after tax recorded EGP 516.43 million, a jump from EGP 498.57 million in the previous FY.
