Cairo – Mubasher: Speed Medical Company has withdrawn from the alliance, comprising Tawasol Holdings for Financial Investment and other investors, which aims to acquire Alexandria Medical Services - Alexandria New Medical Center.
Speed Medical has sought to acquire a 10% stake in the medical centre, according to a bourse filing on Sunday.
Meanwhile, Tawasol Holdings has reached a consensual agreement to submit a purchase offer to acquire a 100% stake in Alexandria Medical Services.
It is noteworthy to mention that in April, the Egyptian Financial Regulatory Authority (FRA) has received a letter from the Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank (ADCB) with the final list of potential buyers of the bank’s 51.54% stake in Alexandria Medical Services, including Cleopatra Hospitals Group (CHG) and Speed Hospitals-LimeVest Fund-Tawasol alliance.
