South Cairo Mills' losses retreat 15% in H1-21/22

Cairo - Mubasher: South Cairo and Giza Flour Mills and Bakeries incurred net losses after tax of EGP 19.15 million in the first half (H1) of fiscal year (FY) 2021/2022, down by 15.15% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 22.57 million, the company's initial financial statements showed.

Losses per share decreased to EGP 3.19 in July-December 2021 from EGP 3.76 during the same period in 2020.

Revenues declined to EGP 72.74 million in the first six months (6M) of FY21/22 from EGP 79.49 million in the corresponding period a year earlier.

It is worth noting that in the first quarter (Q1) of FY21/22, the Egyptian listed company reported net losses of EGP 10.57 million, an increase of 15.1% YoY from EGP 9.18 million.
