Riyadh – Mubasher: Sahara International Petrochemical Company (Sipchem) on Wednesday announced the completion of the scheduled periodic turnaround maintenance activities for the Vinyl Acetate Monomer Plant of the International Vinyl Acetate Company (IVC), an affiliate of Sipchem.
The IVC plant started its operations on Wednesday 17 July, according to a bourse statement.
“During the scheduled turnaround, the required maintenance works were safely completed, which will enhance the reliability of production and allow the IVC plant to achieve its future operational plans,” the statement revealed.
The impact of the scheduled turnaround will be recorded in the company’s financial statements for the third quarter of 2019.
In June, Sipchem suspended operations in three of its units for periodic turnaround maintenance.
