Sinai Cement’s losses down in 9M-22

Cairo – Mubasher: The consolidated net losses of Sinai Cement narrowed to EGP 179.89 million during the first nine months (9M) of 2022, compared to EGP 333.71 million, including minority shareholders’ rights.

Sales of the EGX-listed firm totalled EGP 1.61 billion in 9M-22, compared to EGP 984.76 million in 9M-21, according to a bourse statement on Monday.

In the meantime, the company’s standalone losses decreased to EGP 172.55 million during the nine-month period ended 30 September 2022 from EGP 325.79 million in the corresponding period in the previous year.

It is noteworthy to pinpoint that during the first half (H1) of 2022, the company logged net losses of EGP 102.36 million, compared to EGP 259.63 million in the same period of 2021, including minority shareholders’ rights.
