Cairo – Mubasher: Sidi Kerir Petrochemicals Company (Sidpec) logged net profits after tax amounting to EGP 2.45 billion in 2023, an annual leap of 98.63% from EGP 1.23 billion.
Sidpec recorded 52.37% year-on-year (YoY) higher revenues at EGP 13.19 billion in the 12-month period that ended on 31 December 2023, compared to EGP 8.65 billion, according to the unaudited financials.
Basic earnings per share (EPS) hit EGP 2.75 last year, marking a 56.25% hike from EGP 1.76 in 2022.
In the first nine months (9M) of 2023, the company posted net profits after tax worth EGP 1.81 billion, higher by 143.82% YoY than EGP 744 million.
Last December, the EGX-listed firm unveiled plans to generate EGP 1.91 billion in net profit during 2024.
