Seera turns to losses of SAR 230m in H1-21

Riyadh – Mubasher: Seera Group Holding incurred net losses after Zakat and tax worth SAR 230 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, against net profits of SAR 940 million in H1-20.

The loss per share stood at SAR 0.76 in the January-June 2021 period, versus earnings per share amounting to SAR 3.14 in H1-20, according to the financial results on Tuesday.

Revenues decreased by 11.7% to SAR 472 million in H1-21 from SAR 535 million in the first six months of 2020.

In the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, Seera suffered losses of SAR 98 million, down by 43% from SAR 172 million in Q2-20.

Revenues meanwhile surged by 107% to SAR 286 million in Q2-21 from SAR 138 million in Q2-20.

On a quarterly basis, the net losses in Q2-21 were 25% lower than SAR 131 million in Q1-21, while the revenues soared by 53% from SAR 186 million.
