Riyadh – Mubasher: The second stage of resuming Umrah in Saudi Arabia has begun on Sunday, 18 October, at a 75% capacity.
In September, the kingdom approved the gradual resumption of the Umrah service through four stages, in line with the coronavirus precautions.
About 15,000 pilgrims will perform the ritual every day during the second stage and about 40,000 persons will be allowed to pray at the Grand Mosque in Makkah daily.
Previously, the Ministry of Hajj and Umrah launched the “Eatmarna” mobile application that enables pilgrims to issue Umrah permits as per the capacity approved by relevant authorities.
