Mubasher: An official delegation from Saudi Arabia has visited the two proposed sites for establishing a sports city in Baghdad, the Iraqi ministry of youth and sports’ spokesperson said.
The first site was located in the city of Al-Rashid, while the second location was in Rustamiyah, the official added, according to the Iraqi News Agency (INA).
The Iraqi spokesperson further noted that these sites were specified by the ministry of youth and sports, the Ministry of Planning, Mayoralty of Baghdad, and the general secretariat for the council of ministers.
The investment cost of the project and its timeframe weren’t disclosed.
