Saudia ready to move operations to King Abdulaziz In'l Airport

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabian Airlines (Saudia) is ready to move its operations gradually to King Abdulaziz International Airport (KAIA), the kingdom's second-biggest airport.

Director general of Saudia Saleh Bin Nasser Al-Jasser and CEO Jaan Albrecht visited the new airport on Tuesday, 17 April to check up the readiness of the entire sectors and subsidiaries of the company for moving, the national carrier said in a statement.

Saudia is completely ready to move operations and provide its services through the new airport, which deems a huge and important addition to the aviation services in the GCC nation, Al-Jasser commented.

The new port will bolster the airline’s ambitious plans and operations, which is being upgraded and developed in terms of fleet and operation growth and development of services and products, he added.

The director general highlighted that the state-of-the-art preparations and great capabilities of KAIA make it an active hub across the world due to its strategic location and high-quality establishment.
