Saudi municipality women heads to help achieve Saudi Vision 2030

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia recently named several women to heads the Dhahban and Sharafiya municipalities as well as the women’s municipality branch.

These moves, the women said, would improve municipality services to contribute to achieving the goals of the Saudi Vision 2030, according to Saudi Gazette.

These appointments are an extension of the work of the general administration for women’s services and will provide services to businesswomen in Jeddah like issuing commercial licences, conducting field inspections of women’s commercial facilities, and the like, women’s municipality branch head Maryam Abu Al-Ainain commented.

Meanwhile, head of the Sharafiya municipality Hiba Al-Bluwi said that women were “striving to improve performance and meet the demands of the residents of the area.”

The newly-appointed women began their work on Tuesday, taking investigative tours of the districts.
