Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Tuesday with positive performance after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) levelled up 15.12 points, or 0.19%, to 8,015.25 points.
By 10:43 am Saudi time, TASI’s traded volume reached 11.22 million shares exchanged at a turnover of SAR 294.07 million through 11,570 transactions.
The commercial and professional services sector rose 0.8%, followed by the pharmaceuticals sector with 0.5%.
The telecommunication services, materials and banking sectors added 0.46%, 0.3%, and 0.16%, respectively.
On the other hand, the food and staples retailing sector fell 0.45%, while the retailing sector inched down 0.4%.
Saudi Indian Company for Cooperative Insurance’s (Wafa Insurance) stock led risers with 9.9%, whereas United Wire Factories Company’s (Aslak) stock declined 1.5%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu-Parallel Market, increased by 3.49 points, or 0.13%, to 2,663.06 points.
Development Works Food’s stock went up 3.9%.
