Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) started Monday’s trading session in green territory, after its main Tadawul All Share Index (TASI) levelled up 43.76 points, or 0.55%, to 7,951.83 points.
By 10:38 am Saudi time, TASI’s trading volume hit 25.8 million shares, exchanged through 20,000 transactions at a turnover of SAR 587.63 million.
The telecommunication services sector led gainers with 2.4% as the Saudi Telecom Company’s (STC) stock increased 3.9%, followed by the pharmaceuticals sector with 0.7%.
The banking and materials sectors inched up 0.6%, and 0.55%, respectively.
On the other hand, the food and staples retailing sector shed 0.56%.
Saudi Enaya Cooperative Insurance Company’s (Enaya) stock topped gainers after gaining 9.7%, while Etihad Etisalat Company’s (Mobily) stock was the worst performer with 3.1%.
Meanwhile, NOMU, the benchmark index of the Nomu secondary market, went up 8.37 points, or 0.33%, to 2,550.74 points.
Raydan Co’s stock only rose 0.32%.
