Riyadh – Mubasher: The E-commercial registrations in Saudi Arabia have increased by 64% during 2018 compared to in 2017.
The commerce and investment ministry of Saudi Arabia showed that E-commercial registrations in 2018 totalled about 3,190 when compared to around 1,940 in 2017.
Riyadh region has topped the list of the most active areas for the issuance of E-commercial registrations during 2018 with about 1,430. This was followed by Makkah with 817,000 issued E-commercial registration and the Eastern Province with 471,000 issued registrations.
"Meras" e-services are linked with 22 government agencies that have relation with the startup of business, and currently "Meras" provides over 112 e-services, besides the licenses to start-up business, according to the Saudi ministry.
