Saudi Tadawul closes Sunday’s session in red

Riyadh – Mubasher: The main Tadawul All-Share Index (TASI) closed Sunday’ trading session down by 1.05% at the level of 7,749.46 points by losing 82.34 points.

The trading volume amounted to 106.952 million shares exchanged through around 94,280 transactions at total value of SAR 2.692 billion.

Among four sectors, the energy sector went down by 2.19%, pushed by Rabigh Refining and Petrochemical Company (Petro Rabigh) with 4.22% to be the top faller.

The capital goods sector, shed by 1.53%, where 30 stocks declined led by the National Petrochemical Company (Petrochem) with 4.02%. In contrast, a group of three sectors led by Pharma, Biotech and Life Science inched up by 0.59%.

Al Rajhi Bank led the trading activity with SAR 423.825 million, followed by the Saudi Basic Industries Corp. (SABIC) with SAR 304.315 million.

Alinma Bank was the most active stock with 10.815 million shares exchanged, followed by Dar Alarkan Real Estate Development Company with 8.833 million shares.

Basic Chemical Industries (BCI) was the top riser 2.93%.

As regards the parallel market, NOMU, the benchmark index declined by 0.52%.

Al Kathiri Holding Company was the top riser with 2.74%, while Abdullah Saad Mohammed Abo Moati for Bookstores Company was the top faller with 11.35%.
