Saudi Research records 61.5% surge in H1-21 profits

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Research and Media Group achieved net profits after Zakat and tax worth SAR 226.1 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, rising by 61.5% from SAR 140 million in H1-20.

Earnings per share stood at SAR 2.83 in H1-21, up from SAR 1.75 in H1-20, according to the financial results on Monday.

Revenues increased by 23.5% to SAR 1.29 billion in the first six months of 2021 from SAR 1.05 billion in H1-20.

In the second quarter (Q2) of 2021, Saudi research posted a surge of 78.7% in net profits to SAR 134.6 million from SAR 75.3 million in Q2-20.

Revenues grew by 26% to SAR 702.7 million in Q2-21 from SAR 556.5 million in Q2-20.

On a quarterly basis, the net profits in Q2-21 were 47% higher than SAR 91.5 million in Q1-21, and the revenues rose by almost 18% from SAR 596.8 million.
