Saudi Printing posts 92% lower losses in H1-22; accumulated losses announced

Riyadh – Mubasher: The net losses after Zakat and tax of Saudi Printing and Packaging Company shrank by 91.76% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 2.38 million during the first half (H1) of 2022, versus SAR 28.90 million.

The company generated revenues of SAR 506.66 million in H1-22, an annual jump of 37.81% from SAR 367.65 million, according to the initial income statements.

The loss per share stood at SAR 0.04 in January-June 2022, lower than SAR 0.49 in the year-ago period.

Meanwhile, Saudi Printing registered accumulated losses worth SAR 68.90 million as of H1-22, representing 11.50% of the SAR 600 million capital.

During the second quarter (Q2) of 2022, the Saudi listed firm turned to net profits after Zakat and tax of SAR 900,000, against net losses of SAR 15.35 million in Q2-21.

The revenues surged by 39.15% YoY to SAR 270.24 million in Q2-22 from SAR 194.21 million,

In the first three months (3M) of 2022, the company incurred net losses after Zakat and tax worth SAR 3.28 million, down 75.79% from SAR 13.55 million during the same period a year earlier.
