Riyadh — Mubasher: The Saudi Investment Funds index closed lower on Tuesday, 21 July 2026, shedding 7.6 points to end the session at 2,994.43 points.
Market breadth skewed negative as 19 funds declined against 11 gainers, while total trading liquidity reached SAR 13.38 million across 1.91 million shares.
The Investment Funds index experienced a downward trend during the session, finishing with a 0.25% loss.
Trading activity concentrated heavily on a select group of Real Estate Investment Traded Funds (REITs), which dominated both value and volume charts.
ALISTITHMAR REIT (4350) emerged as the session's top performer, surging +6.23% to close at SAR 7.50. The fund also led the market in liquidity and activity, recording SAR 4.51 million in traded value and 610,000 shares exchanged.
Other notable gainers included ALBILAD HONG KONG CHINA ETF (9410), which rose +2.33% to SAR 10.96, and YAQEEN ESG ETF (9409), up +1.29% to SAR 10.18.
SABI HK ETF (9411) and ALKHABEER INCOME (4700) also posted gains of +0.71% and +0.63%, respectively.
On the decliners' side, ALWAHA REIT (9300) saw the steepest drop, falling -1.81% to SAR 9.23. It was followed by MUSHARAKA REIT (4335), which decreased -1.07% to SAR 3.69, and RIYAD REIT (4330), down -1.01% to SAR 4.88.
Large-cap ETFs also faced pressure, with YAQEEN 30 ETF (9400) losing -0.81% and SABI QUANT ETF (9402) declining -0.59%.
In terms of market activity, JADWA REIT SAUDI (4342) followed ALISTITHMAR REIT in turnover, recording SAR 1.64 million in value despite a -0.29% price drop.
Al RAJHI REIT (4340) saw SAR 1.14M in trades, closing down -0.36% at SAR 8.20.
SEDCO MULTI ASSET (4703) bucked the negative trend among active funds, rising +0.43% on SAR 1.02 million in liquidity.
Other active funds included SEDCO CAPITAL REIT (4344) and DERAYAH REIT (4339), which respectively saw values of SAR 810,000 and SAR 740,000.
