Riyadh — Mubasher: The Saudi Investment Funds index finished Tuesday's session, 27 October, in positive territory, gaining 19.91 points or 0.79% to settle at 2,546.5 points.
Market breadth was positive as 23 funds advanced against 10 decliners, supported by a total trading turnover of SAR 32.77 million.
The index maintained its upward momentum throughout the session, closing at 2,546.5 points.
Trading activity saw 4.96 million shares exchanged. Among the listed entities, four funds remained unchanged from their previous closing prices.
Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) dominated the top gainers list. SABI QUANT ETF (9402) led the advances with a 3.50% increase to SAR 41.44, followed by ALBILAD SAUDI GROWTH ETF (9408), which rose 3.16% to SAR 6.87.
Within the Real Estate Investment Traded Funds (REITs) sector, ALINMA RETAIL REIT (4345) climbed 2.70% to SAR 4.18, while MULKIA REIT (4336) added 2.60% to close at SAR 3.95.
Other notable gainers included YAQEEN PETROCHEMICAL ETF (9401) and ALJAZIRA REIT (4331), rising 2.48% and 2.34% respectively.
On the decliners' side, ALWAHA REIT (9300) experienced the sharpest drop of the day, falling 8% to SAR 8.39.
AL MAATHER REIT (4334) and ALINMA HOSPITALITY REIT (4349) also faced selling pressure, declining 1.06% and 1.01% respectively.
Fixed-income instruments saw marginal movements, with ALBILAD SOVEREIGN SUKUK ETF (9403) easing 0.25% and ALINMA GOVERNMENT SUKUK ETF (9404) dipping 0.20%.
Liquidity and volume were concentrated in a few key REITs. JADWA REIT SAUDI (4342) was the most active fund by both value and volume, recording SAR 8.5 million in turnover through the exchange of 1.10 million shares, as its price rose 1.97%.
BONYAN REIT (4347) followed with SAR 5.93 million in value on 720,000 shares, though its price remained flat.
ALINMA HOSPITALITY REIT (4349) saw SAR 4.84 million in trades, while Al RAJHI REIT (4340) attracted SAR 4.11 million in liquidity, closing up 1.05% at SAR 7.70.
Other active funds included SEDCO CAPITAL REIT (4344) with SAR 2.40 million and MEFIC REIT (4346) with SAR 1.01 million in traded value.
