Riyadh — Mubasher: The Saudi Investment Funds index finished Sunday's session in positive territory, gaining 8.7 points or 0.29% to close at 3,007.76 points.
Trading activity saw 10 funds advance against 19 decliners, while total liquidity reached SAR 11.85 million with 1.63 million shares exchanged throughout the day.
The index maintained a steady performance during the session, supported by buying interest in several Real Estate Investment Traded Funds (REITs).
SEDCO Capital Multi Asset Traded Fund (4703) emerged as the top performer, surging 3.12% to close at SAR 6.95.
SEDCO Capital REIT (4344) followed, rising 2.17% to SAR 8.02, and Alahli REIT 1 (4338) added 1.39% to reach SAR 6.56.
Other notable gainers included Taleem REIT (4333) and Alinma Retail REIT (4345), rising +0.86% and +0.41% respectively.
Conversely, the Exchange Traded Funds (ETFs) segment faced downward pressure.
Albilad US Tech ETF (9407) led the decliners with a 2.95% drop to SAR 24.35, while Albilad HK China Equity ETF (9410) fell 2.74% to SAR 10.66.
SAB Invest Hang Seng Hong Kong ETF (9411) also retreated by 1.90% to SAR 12.38.
Within the REITs sector, Musharaka REIT (4335) and Aljazira REIT (4331) recorded losses of 1.33% and 0.71% respectively.
In terms of liquidity and volume, SEDCO Capital Multi Asset Traded Fund (4703) was the most active instrument, recording a turnover of SAR 3.55 million and a volume of 510,000 shares.
Alinma Hospitality REIT (4349) followed with SAR 2.01 million in traded value, closing flat at SAR 8.12.
Jadwa REIT Saudi Fund (4342) also saw significant activity with SAR 1.78 million in trades, ending the session slightly higher by 0.19% at SAR 10.63.
Bonyan REIT (4347) and Alistithmar REIT (4350) rounded out the top active list, with the latter declining 0.56% on SAR 1.17 million in liquidity.
