Saudi Chemical takes over Eli Lilly’s Cialis in Saudi Arabia

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Chemical Company Holding has completed the acquisition of Eli Lilly’s prescription rights of Cialis in Saudi Arabia.

Cialis, a treatment for male-related medical conditions, generated revenues worth SAR 100 million in the Kingdom in 2021, according to a bourse disclosure on Tuesday.

Under the agreement, AJA Pharmaceutical Industries (AJA Pharma), a subsidiary of Saudi Chemical, will become the manufacturer and supplier of Cialis in the Saudi market.

It is worth noting that the two companies inked the acquisition agreement last December.
