Saudi Chemical Holding approves bylaw amendments

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Chemical Company Holding’s shareholders approved multiple amendments to the company’s bylaws during an extraordinary general meeting (EGM) held on 21 July 2026.

The meeting, which was conducted via modern technology, reached a quorum with an attendance rate of 42.41%.

Shareholders voted in favor of amending Article 17, which governs the management of the company. Additionally, the assembly approved the deletion of Article 43 regarding the company’s fiscal year.

The meeting also resulted in the addition of a new provision, Article 28, which outlines additional powers for the chairman and board members.

Following the inclusion of this new article, subsequent articles from 29 to 42 were renumbered accordingly.

The meeting was chaired by Fawaz Mohammed Al Fawaz and attended by several board members and committee heads. The session commenced at 19:00 and utilized the Tadawulaty system for remote voting and participation.

This third meeting was convened to address the proposed structural changes to the company's internal governance framework.
