Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Ceramic Company generated SAR 132.03 million in net profit after Zakat and tax during the first nine months (9M) of 2022, an annual plunge of 29.27% from SAR 186.67 million.
Revenues declined by 4.76% year-on-year (YoY) to SAR 1.10 billion in the January-September 2022 period, compared to SAR 1.15 billion, according to the initial financial results.
The earnings per share (EPS) stood at SAR 1.65 in 9M-22, lower than SAR 2.34 in 9M-21.
During the third quarter (Q3) of 2022, Saudi Ceramic witnessed an 18.36% YoY drop in net profit after Zakat and tax to SAR 42.77 million from SAR 52.39 million.
Revenues went up by 1.78% to SAR 366.55 million in Q3-22 from SAR 360.14 million in Q3-21.
On a quarterly basis, the Q3-22 net profits after Zakat and tax surged by 12.66% from SAR 37.96 million in Q2-22, while the revenues increased by 8.18% from SAR 338.82 million.
In the first half (H1) of 2022, the company’s net profits after Zakat and tax retreated by 33.40% to SAR 89.26 million from SAR 134.02 million during the same period a year earlier.
