Saudi Cement’s net profits cross SAR 202m in H1-26

Riyadh - Mubasher: Saudi Cement Company posted 6.81% year-on-year (YoY) higher net profits after tax at SAR 102 million for the second quarter (Q2) of 2026, compared to SAR 95.50 million in Q2-25.

The company attributed the growth to higher local sales volumes and a reduction in both selling and distribution expenses and finance charges, despite a decline in average selling prices.

Quarterly revenue reached SAR 434.80 million, a slight increase of 0.76% compared to SAR 431.50 million in the prior-year quarter.

Operating profit for the three-month period rose by 5.62% to SAR 110.80 million. On a sequential basis, net profit improved by 1.80% from the SAR 100.20 million earned in Q1-26.

In the first half (H1) of 2026, the company’s net profit edged down by 0.88% to SAR 202.20 million, compared to SAR 204 million in the corresponding period of the previous year.

Half-year revenues totaled SAR 817.50 million, down 3.80% from SAR 849.80 million, as total sales quantities and values softened across the six-month period.

Earnings per share (EPS) totaled SAR 1.32, while total shareholders' equity reached SAR 2.15 billion.

During the three-month period that ended on 31 March 2026, Saudi Cement recorded 7.64% lower net profits at SAR 100.20 million.
