Saudi CMA to exempt listed firms from announcing Q4-17 results

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia-based, Capital Market Authority (CMA) on Wednesday announced its decision to exempt the listed companies on the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) to announce the initial financial results for the fourth quarter of 2017.

This decision is a part of CMA’s efforts to improve the stock market's position, to be in line with the continuous change in the international bourses, and taking into consideration transition to the International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).

On Thursday, 9 November it was the end of announcing financial results for Tadawul-listed firms in Q3-17.
