Saudi Arabia reports 1,253 new COVID-19 cases

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Health announced 1,253 more COVID-19 infections on Wednesday, taking the total count to 478,135 since the pandemic escalated last year.

A total of 1,043 recoveries were registered to bring the total number to 459,091. The ministry reported 13 additional fatalities that increased the death toll to 7,716.

Saudi Arabia has administrated more than 16.82 million COVID-19 vaccine doses until press time.

Globally, there are 179.96 million people who contracted the virus around the world, of which more than 164.73 million recovered and over 3.89 million passed away.
