Riyadh – Mubasher: Public Investment Fund (PIF), Saudi Arabia's sovereign wealth fund, has appointed the former chairman and chief executive of Dow Chemical Andrew Liveris as a special adviser.
Liveris will be an adviser to the Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman, the chairman of the Saudi body, according to a statement.
Liveris will also help the PIF in boosting its investment portfolio, which comprises more than $250 billion in assets, in a bid to achieve the goals the crown prince’s “Vision 2030” reform plan, intended to diversify the kingdom’s economy and invest more heavily in infrastructure.
