Saudi Arabia announces 1,479 new COVID-19 infections

Riyadh – Mubasher: The Saudi Ministry of Health announced on Tuesday 1,479 additional COVID-19 cases, according to official data.

There were also 920 more recoveries and 12 new deaths.

The new figures brought the total count of cases in Saudi Arabia to 476,882 since the pandemic started last year, of which 458,048 recovered and 7,703 died.

The health ministry has administrated more than 16.73 million vaccine jabs against COVID-19.
