Saudi Arabia, Iraq ink 13 deals to boost economic cooperation

Riyadh – Mubasher: Saudi Arabia and Iraq have signed 13 collaboration contracts to step up economic cooperation between the two Asian nations on the sidelines of a meeting between the Saudi and Iraqi ministers.

After this meeting, the two countries are expected to resume trade exchange through Jadidah Arar region as of next June, according to the media centre of the Iraqi cabinet.

Under these partnership, Saudi Arabia and Iraq will forge partnerships in the industry, mining, and oil and gas sectors.

In the same vein, the officials from the two parties signed cooperation agreements in electrical energy, political consultation, culture, arts, maritime transportation, science, education, investment, and agriculture industries.
