Riyadh – Mubasher: The development of Al-Jafoura gas field in the eastern region of Saudi Arabia is expected to increase the field’s output to 2.2 trillion cubic feet (Tcf) per year in 2036, Crown Prince Mohammad Bin Salman stated.

The volume of gas resources in the field deposits is estimated at 200 Tcf of wet gas which contains gas liquids for the petrochemical industries and high-value capacitors, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported on Friday.

Bin Salman commended the efforts of the Saudi Arabian Oil Company’s (Saudi Aramco) in developing the field, with total investments of $110 billion (SAR 412 billion).
